THE BRIEF

Great Rail Journeys challenged Will to create two brand films for their website and social channels. They wanted to capture the feeling that their customers have when travelling on one a Great Rail Journeys tour.

Will was given the phrase 'Moments of Great Connection' as an anchor to the films. From there, he created two concepts; a brand film and a tour film.

THE STORYBOARDS

On every project, Will goes the extra mile to help his team and the client visualise what they will be making together. It is a collaborative process where they iron out all of the details and ensure that everyone is on the same page. Here are some of the detailed storyboards from the Great Rail Journeys brand film. 

THE FILMING

Once the storyboards are signed off and all the logistics are sorted, Will then leads the shoot. 

For this project, Will worked with long time collaborator, Duncan Yeldham to produce, direct, shoot and edit the films. They also worked with various other freelancers to push the films over the finish line. Here is a little behind the scenes look at the shoot in Switzerland.
